Generating Mosaic Image Using Color Feature Extraction for Content Based Image Retrieval

This research aims to create an image mosaic from a collection of images by utilizing color feature extraction with CBIR (Content Based Image Retrieval) technique. Some the things be considered in are selection model, how represent features, and metrics for calculating distance between features. The system consists two main parts, preprocessing generating. In stage, quantization is performed on dataset, then results saved file that will used generating stage. We use types quantization, 27 colors 64 colors. input divided into many small (called tiles), size which adjusted dataset. To obtain candidate images, LCH (Local Color Histogram) values each tile calculated using certain scheme. Those schemes 4-block separated, overlapped, 5-block. MOSS or DOSS algorithm determine most similar tile. experiments have been carried out, overlapped scheme provide mosaic. 
 Penelitian ini berusaha untuk membentuk dari kumpulan gambar dengan memanfaatkan ekstraksi fitur warna teknik Retrieval). Beberapa hal yang menjadi perhatian dalam adalah pemilihan model warna, bagaimana merepresentasikan dan metric menghitung jarak antara warna.
